Here are the general ground rules for successful consigning:
Designer and better department store labels SELL
The better the label and the better the condition of each garment, the quicker it will sell, and the better price it will fetch.
Sorry, but we don't accept private label items from discount stores. They just don't sell well.
Terms:- We accept Womens, Mens and Kids clothing and accessories. Terrific labels for the entire family and all ages--toddlers to teens to adults.
- We accept petite to plus sizes.
- Fur Season is October 15th through January 15th. Furs must be in excellent condition and less than 5 years old.
- Items missed during the initial inspection that are found to be stained, torn or containing other damage may be donated to charities without notice. Tax receipts are available.
- If you are shipping please enclose your name, address and phone number in each box.
- Bring in your like-new current (less than 3 seasons) designer labels, better department, or specialty store clothing freshly cleaned, pressed and on hangers. Items must be in perfect condition (no missing buttons, no damage, etc.). The better they look, the faster they will turn into cash for you!
- When your items sell, you will receive 45% or 55% of the selling price. Prices will be determined by Store Associates. You will receive 45% of the selling price if you choose to be paid by check, your check may be picked up in the store monthly. You will receive 55% of the selling price if you choose store credit, which will be credited to your account.
- Checks will be mailed monthly to out of town consigners.
- Consignment times:
- Monday - Friday - No Appointments are neccessary when consigning 25 items or less.
- Monday - Friday - Consignment Hours are 11:00 am - 7:00 pm.
- Saturday and Sunday - Please call for an appointment, walk-ins will NOT be accepted.
